1. Information We Collect
To provide our service, we collect minimal data necessary:
- Account Data: Email address for secure authentication.
- Tab Data: URLs and page titles of your active tabs. This data is synced to the cloud only if you are using the Pro cloud sync feature.
2. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate SmartTab Organizer:
- Gumroad: Acts as our Merchant of Record. They handle the checkout process, tax compliance, and billing data. We do not store your payment details.
- Cloud Services: Used for secure authentication and database storage.
- OpenAI (Pro Users Only): We send the title and URL of web pages to the OpenAI API for categorization. Your data is NOT used to train OpenAI models.
3. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal data. If you uninstall the extension and wish to delete your account and all associated data from our servers, please contact us at support@smarttab-organizer.com.
